Latest Update On Sasha Banks Taking Non-WWE Appearances
July 15, 2022Sasha Banks may not wrestle for the rest of the year.
Wednesday It was announced that Mercedes Vernando, who we all know better as Sasha Banks, will be appearing at the C2E3 Expo in Chicago this August. The organization announced banks for an autograph and photo session but in doing so announced her as her real name and basically listed “Sasha Banks” as a role the is known for alongside her role in The Mandalorian. This is the first non-WWE appearance she has been announced for Banks and now we have some more info on this and possibly more.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Sapp reports that this is the first non-WWE appearance she has been announced for but also has heard from several promoters in and out of wrestling, and as far as wrestling things, her team noted how she will not be taking any wresting related signings till January 1, 2023.
The report also notes how her asking price for appearances is $30,000. One promoted noted how that was “exactly as expected,” as her demand should be high because she left on her own terms, has not been part of the convention scene, and has a high fanbase willing to support her. That promoter said that they were then happy to book her at that rate as they know they’d make the money bake on it.
So far this is the only appearance we know for Banks and if we do hear anything else on her booking any more, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
