Latest Update On Drew McIntyre’s Time Away Following Bad Blood

McIntyre could be back in the mix soon.

We have not seen Drew McIntyre on WWE television since his Hell in a Cell match with CM Punk at WWE Bad Blood. Word was the two would be kept off television for a little while to sell the beating they took in the match. Punk made his return to TV last week, but we have not seen McIntyre yet.

According to a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that discussions have started within creative to figure out how to bring McIntyre back to TV. The report notes that nothing is set in stone yet but there have been some pitches and conversations as that the direction they will go with Drew next.

Johnson states that things are progressing and he’s closer to returning. Drew had to actually get cleared after the match due to needing 16 staples ion the top of his head. It has also been reported that during his time off over the last month McIntyre was tending to a family matter as well.
