Latest On AJ Styles & Omos Returning To TV, Why They Were Off
April 28, 2021The RAW tag team champs are coming back.
At WrestleMania 37 AJ Styles and Omos defeated The New Day to become the RAW Tag Team Champions. Yet since winning the titles, we have not seen either man on Monday Night RAW, or RAW Talk at that. Now we know when we will see them back.
This morning both AJ Styles and Omos were on The Bump and talked about a number of things. They said after winning the titles Vince McMahon gave them time off so they can go celebrate in Nigeria. Styles would then go on to confirm that they will be on RAW next week, May 3rd. Styles stated, “
“We’ll be back next week and ready to party. In the ring. Not in Nigeria.”
As far as The Ned Day getting a rematch for the belts, Omos said they need to earn their rematch.
“The New Day have to earn the right to face us again. They’re old news. Get to the back of the line. They’re not even on my radar.”

As far as the two being off TV for the last few weeks, the word going around is that Omos may not have been cleared to be at TV. With that, they kept them both off TV till they could be together.
