Latest Details On WWE’s Plans After The ThunderDome
November 18, 2020WWE may have locked down their next venue.
WWE’s current agreement with The Amway Center in Orlando runs through November 24th. We heard that could be extended to the first week of December but no longer due to the next NBA season starting in mid to late December. We then heard one venue WWE is looking at using is Tropicana Field where the Tampa Bay Ray plays. We have now got some more post-Amway Center plans.
According to WrestlVotes on Twitter, they report that WWE is looking to start using Tropicana Field in mid-December. They also state they could use it for the Royal Rumble through WrestleMania and then move back to different arenas with live crowds after.
Newest plan now is to have ThunderDome shows at Tropicana Field in Tampa starting mid December thru Mania season. Fans at the Royal Rumble still possible, potentially even at the Trop in TB. WWE is hoping to start traditional live arena shows w/ fans the night after WrestleMania.

If we break all of this down then Then it looks like they want to run Tropicana Field for the next three and a half months. Then maybe run WrestleMania in Raymond James Stadium as reported. Following Mania then they try to go back to a week;y touring schedule running different arena every week.
With Tropicana Field being the likely new home of WWE running till WrestleMania may be all then can run there and the Ray will need the venue for games in late March/early April.
