Kyle O’Reilly Releases Statement On NXT Stretcher Job
February 18, 2021Kyle O’Reilly says he is alright.
Last night after NXT went off the air, fans in attendance started sending out word that Kyle O’Reilly was stretchered out from ringside. Somewhere in there the story shifted to saying that O’Reilly had suffered a seizure. We later learned that is not true and this stretcher job was just part of a storyline.
Kyle O’Reilly himself took to Twitter this morning to thank fans for their concern.
Thanks everyone for checking in, your love and support truly means the World. I was placed on a stretcher last night out of concern for my neck after receiving a brainbuster on the steps. Thankfully I can move around somewhat OK today but I may need some time to heal. 1/2

As much as that hurt and sucked last night, the betrayal was worse. Coming back from this stronger and with a thirst for revenge. Best served cold. 2/2

It is good to see that this was all just part of a storyline. We still do not know where the story shifted to him having a seizure as WWE themselves never once said that. This is all just done to further the new story they are telling with Kyle O’Reilly, Adam Cole and Finn Balor.
