Kushida’s Mystery Partner Revealed For The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic

Last week NXT revealed the teams and brackets for the upcoming Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. When everything was announced Kushida was announced having a mystery partner. Rumors started going around on who that was with one source telling us there is a very good choice it is Kishida’s old tag team partner Alex Shelley. Tonight the partner was announced.
Tonight when announcing the first-round matches for next week it was announced that Kushida will in fact be teaming with Alex Shelley. The two were a tag team in New Japan Pro Wrestling known as the Time Splitter. The duo is former IWGP Jr Heavyweight Tag Team Champions together on two occasions. They also won the 2012 Super Jr Tag Team Tournament. Next week the two will be taking on former NXT UK Tag Team Champions The Grizzled Young Veterans.
