Konnan Reportedly Hospitalized With A ‘Pretty Serious’ Kidney Issue

According to Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer stated that Konnan is currently hospitalized with a “pretty serious” kidney issue. Meltzer would also state that it “very concerning.” Meltzer did not have any further details on Konnan, yet then this morning we did get some more info.
Lucha Libre Online stated on Twitter that Hugo Savinovich has stated that Konnan also tested positive for COVID-19.
As Hugo Savinovich has just reported, Konnan has confirmed to us that he unfortunately tested positive for COVID-19, which is why he is hospitalized. He recognized that his life was in danger. At this moment he is out of danger and hopes to be given the medical discharge between today and tomorrow to be able to continue your treatment from home. Konnan is in our prayers as is his family and we wish him a speedy recovery.

No other details were given as far as Konnan’s condition but it is good to hear that he could be released from the hospital today or tomorrow.
