Kevin Owens Out Of WrestleMania 41 As He Needs Neck Surgery

Kevin Owens has to go away.

On Thursday night, news started to trickle out that an injury could impact a match at WrestleMania. On Friday, it came out that the Superstar in question was Kevin Owens and that he is dealing with a serious injury. Then on Smackdown, KO laid it all out for us.

General Manager Nick Aldis came to the ring and in a very somber tone, said they basically had bad news and called Kevin Owens to the ring. Owens noted that for the last 25 years, he has been able to do amazing things and take care of his family, but there is a toll everyone in the locker room has to pay, and it was now time for him to pay his. This is when Owens would reveal that he has been dealing with a neck injury for the last four months, and this week doctors have come to the conclusion that he will need to undergo neck surgery.

Owens would continue by saying that because of this, he will not be able to face Randy Orton at WrestleMania. He also said he does not know when or if he will ever be able to return to the ring. Orton would then come out to the ring and the two would just have a brief staredown before Owens would head to the back.

This would then leave Aldis to inform Orton that he no longer has a match at WrestleMania. Orton would then be the Viper we all know he is, and out of anger, give the Smackdown General Manager an RKO in the middle of the ring.

If we do hear anything further on Kevin Owens having to undergo neck surgery and his in-ring future, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
