Kacy Catanzaro Returns To Action On NXT

Over the last few months, there have been many stories going around about Kacy Catanzaro and her status with the WWE. First, we had heard she was taking time off to heal up an injury, then we heard she may be done with the WWE. WWE then pulled her profiles down from the main WWE website and the Performance Center website. Yet he profiles were not deleted but set to private so only people who work on the backend of the site could see it.

Last month it was reported that Catanzaro was spotted meeting with WWE head trainer Matt Bloom at the Performance Center, but the reason for the meeting was unknown.

Tonight on NXT, the main event was a big battle royal for a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship and in a great surprise Catanzaro entered the Full Sail Arena and got in the ring for the battle royal. It is not known if she is a full-time return for Catanzaro or just a cool surprise for this match. It was great to see Catanzaro in the match doing the cool Ninja Warrior type moves she does.

It is also to be noted that Teagan Nox made her return to the ring since being “injured” back at NXT Takeover Wargames by Dakota Kai. Former NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler also shocked the NXT Universe entering into this match after not being advertised for the match.
