John Silver Reveals How Long He Is Expected To Be Out Of Action
March 26, 2021Silver says he will not need surgery.
This past Wednesday in the main event of AEW Dynamite, John Silver challenged Darby Allin for the TNT Championship. During the match, Silver ended up suffering a dislocated shoulder. It was said that Silver worked half the match with the injury when Darby Allin told the live crowd “I don’t think anybody here knows. I’m pretty sure you dislocated your shoulder halfway through the match.” We now have some actual good news regarding the said injury.
John Silver confirmed that injury on Friday night saying his shoulder hurt but they did not think it was too serious. Silver then took to Twitter Friday morning to reveal that he is expected to only miss about four to six weeks of action. The good news is the injury is not serious enough for him no need to undergo surgery.
Bad news: I’ll be out about 4-6 weeks
Good news: I don’t need surgery and there is no major damage— John Silver (@SilverNumber1) March 26, 2021
One would assume that we will not miss any screen time with John Silver. He will still make his weekly appearance on Being The Elite and if we see Dark Order on Dynamite he would most likely be there with them. If we do hear anything further regarding John Silver’s injury, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
