John Cena Signs New Deal With WWE

John Cena wants to remain in the WWE family.

This weekend, we will see the final match of the storied career of John Cena, who most say is one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time. With his time in the ring coming to an end, Cena will remain part of the WWE for as long as they will have him.

In an interview with Tom Rindaldi that is now up on WWE’s YouTube channel, Cena revealed that he asked the company to sign him to an ambassador deal for as long as possible.

“I will be an ambassador [for] the WWE. I’m already signed on for another five years. I was like ‘Please, as long as you can do it.’ I would like to be in this family as an employee, as a contributing part for as long as I can.” 

Cena would also go on to reiterate once again that after his final match, he is done in the ring. He noted how you rarely speak in absolutes cause yo never say never, but with thi,s he can speak in absolutes. He can speak in absolutes because he will not let the people he made a promise to down.
