Jeff Hardy Confirms That He Is “Going To AEW”

Back on December 9th, it was reported that WWE had released former WWE and World Champion Jeff Hardy from the company. This came after Hardy displayed some questionable behavior during a six-man tag team match at a live event in Texas. The speculation that once his no-compete was up he would end up in AEW and it looks like Hardy has revealed just that.
While speaking with YouTuber Jared Myers backstage at one of his recent concerts, Hardy did reveal that he is going to AEW and that he is excited about it. The audio is not that great in the video but you can hear hard saying “I’m going to AEW. I’m so excited. Until this morning I didn’t really know. I’m so nervous and excited.”

Hardy going to All Elite Wrestling is something that has been speculated since his brother Matt left WWE back in 2020 to join the company. Since then Hardy did sign a new deal with WWE as he had stated that he was happy there and felt he had a few things left to accomplish with them.
As far as when Hardy can start with AEW is not 100% not clear. It is not known the exact date of Hardy’s official release from WWE. Most are saying he would be free to go on March 9th, yet there are some reports that have stated he may actually be clear by next week’s Dynamite on March 2nd.
