Jeff Cobb Makes His WWE Debut At Backlash

A top free agent has arrived in WWE.

The 2025 WWE Backlash event kicked off with a big fatal-four-way for the United States Championship. Towards the end match, Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest were taken out in the crowd, and LA Knight had the advantage over the champion Jacob Fatu. Yet Fatu got some help leading to the win.

As Fatu was laid out on the announce table, we saw Solo Sikoa appear to assist Fatu, yet he did not come along. In the front row was former New Japan Pro Wrestling star Jeff Cobb. Cobb would assist in taking out Knight. This assist led to Fatu being able to retain the United States Championship, but not being happy after.

When Cobb appeared, Fatu gave a look like “what is he doing here,” and did the same after the match as well, before walking past the two and going to the back.

On commentary, Michael Cole stated, β€œThat’s one of the biggest free agents on the planet. That’s Jeff Cobb.” So they called him by his actual name, yet on the post-show show Big E actually questioned if he will keep his name or not.

Cobb is now seemingly part of Solo’s Bloodline group, but we do not yet know anything contract-wise and how long he has signed with WWE for. If we do hear anything else on Cobb now being with WWE, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
