Injury Updates Following NXT TakeOver Main Event

Finn Balor and Kyle O’Reilly literally beat the hell out of one another.

Last night at NXT TakeOver 31 we saw an amazing main event between Finn Balor and Kyle O’Reilly. The two had a hard-hitting match and by the end of the match, both men were bleeding from the mouth. At one point commentary even questioned if Balor has injured his jaw.

After the show on the NXT media call, Triple H revealed that Finn Balor was having his jaw x-rayed and O’Reilly was being evaluated for an injury as well.

“You know, from an injury standpoint, Kyle [O’Reilly], is being evaluated as we speak and Finn Balor on his way to have his jaw x-rayed to see what’s going on there, so hopefully we’re in good shape. Other than that, everybody is good.”

According to Dave Meltzer on last night’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer stated that the match was actually ended a little early because of the feal that Balor may have suffered some sort of a jaw injury. Meltzer stated that is unclear how much but some time was shaved off the match because of the possible injury.

No more has come out on Balor and O’Reilly’s condition and if we do hear any more on it, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
