Injury Causes Change To Tag Match On Tonight’s Dynamite
July 20, 2022AEW has changed a match for tonight.
Seven things have been announced for tonight’s AEW Dynamite Fyter Fest Week 2. The main event is a barbwire everywhere match with Chris Jericho taking on Eddie Kingston. The AEW Interim World Champion will be in a tag team match and speaking of tag team matches, one announced for the show has been changed ahead of tonight’s show.
AEW has announced that the six-women tag team match had to be changed to a two-on-two tag team match due to an injury. AEW noted that Leila Grey is not cleared to compete and had to be pulled from the match tonight. With that on the other side, Kris Statlander was also pulled from the match. Now it will be Athena and Willow Nightingale against TBS Champion jade Cargill and Keira Hogan.
