IMPACT Wrestling Banned From Streaming On Twitch After Sexual Rob Van Damn Celebration

RVD and his girlfriends are too hot for Twitch.

IMPACT Wrestling has really made a home for themselves streaming their weekly shows and other live events on their Twitch channel, but it looks like that will not continue anymore. Tuesday night they streamed the latest episode of their weekly show and then on Wednesday evening their channel had been suspended by Twitch.

The news was first brought to light by StreamerBans Wednesday but they do not give context on bans when they post that a channel has been banned on Twitch. One would assume it had to do with the Rob Van Dam segment that aired on Tuesday night’s show. Twitch has a strict policy on sexual content and we have seen channels get suspended, banned and canceled for a lot less than what aired in the RVD segment.

The segment consisted of RVD, his girlfriend Katie Forbes and Forbes’ girlfriend. The two women wore very skimpy bikinis, any skimpier and they would have been naked. The two then kissed all over RVD. Later in the segment, the women reemerge with no tops on and their breasts covered in whip cream and their nipples blurred. The segment then ends with the women under a blanket giving Van Dam ‘sexual favors.’ You can see the segment below.

As stated above Twitch, who is owned by Amazon, has a very strict policy on nudity, pornography and other sexual content appearing on their platform. We have seen them punish streamers who cosplay as anime characters who wear slightly provocative costumes with hardly any to no skin show in inappropriate areas. Acts way less inappropriate than what aired on IMPACT have been banned so this had to have really tipped the scales for Twitch. Here are Twitch’s policies on the matter,

NUDITY, PORNOGRAPHY, AND OTHER SEXUAL CONTENT

Nudity and sexually explicit content or activities, such as pornography, sexual acts or intercourse, and sexual services, are prohibited.

Content or activities that threaten or promote sexual violence or exploitation are strictly prohibited and may be reported to law enforcement. Child exploitation will be reported to authorities via the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

Sexually suggestive content or activities are also prohibited, although they may be allowed in educational contexts or for pre-approved licensed content, in each case subject to additional restrictions.

Neither Twitch nor IMPACT Wrestling has commented on the channel being taken down. This will not impact the show airing Tuesday nights on AXS TV. We have reached out AXS TV & IMPACT for a comment on the situation. If we do hear anything further on the matter will have an update.
