Highly Unexpected Opponent Rumors For John Cena At Saturday Night’s Main Event

Cena may have an interesting opponent on NBC.

Coming up on May 24th is WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event from Tampa, Florida. Right now, the only match reported for the show is Jey Uso defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Logan Paul. Coming out of last night’s Smackdown we could see Tiffany Stratton versus Nia Jax for the WWE Women’s Championship, and we know John Cena is advertised for the show. When it comes to Cena, an interesting name is rumored as his opponent.

Wor making the rounds right now is that John Cena could be facing R-Truth in Tampa at Saturday Night’s Main Event. We saw a small interaction between the two a few weeks ago on Smackdown, and last night, Truth was fanboying out over Cena as Cena was set for the show.

This would make a lot of sense as the two have loosely been connected for years, with R-Truth saying that John Cena was his “childhood” hero, even though he is older than Cena. When they had their interaction a few weeks ago, it gave a vibe of Cena as a heel is going to break his heart if not beat him up. Now it looks like all of that could come in a few weeks.
