Hell In A Cell Match Reportedly Set For The Royal Rumble

Two superstars may be going to hell next month.

WWE has used the Hell In A Cell match since 1997 and since 2009 ran the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view. Some have said that having the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view kind of diminishes what the match was supposed to be, the ultimate endgame of a big feud. Triple H has recently commented on wanting to get the match back to that feeling and they may be doing so at next month’s Royal Rumble event.

According to a new report from WrestlingNews.co, they are reported that Edge is slated to take on “Demon” Finn Balor at January’s Royal Rumble event and it will be a gimmick match. They further note that the gimmick match will be a Hell In A Cell match.

Finn Balor and Edge have been feuding since last Summer when Balor took over Judgement Day, the group Edge created. The two and other members of Judgement Day, plus The O.C. have been engaging ever since and it looks like all of this could come to an end next month at the Royal Rumble inside Hell In a Cell.
