Have We Seen Matt Hardy For The Last Time In WWE?

Last night on Monday Night RAW, Matt Hardy tried to get a response out of Randy Orton regarding what he did to Edge two weeks ago. Matt talked about his up and down future with Edge. How Edge was forced to retire before he was ready. Now able to come back with a great return and Orton took that away.
The segment then ended with Orton trying to hit Matt with an RKO, Matt fought him off for a moment and then eventually took an RKO. Orton seemingly wrote Matt off television after giving him a one-man conchairto.
When the WWE Twitter account tweeted about the segment calling this “the beginning of the end” for Matt Hardy.

After this Hardy also sent out a Tweet saying ‘Goodbye.’

The news has been out there for a few months now that Matt Hardy’s contract with WWE is expected to expire on March 1st. Many do not think he will stay with the company and where he goes from here is unclear. Many fans have speculated All Elite Wrestling, but right now we can not confirm that is the plan for sure.
With Hardy saying goodbye on Twitter, it leads one to assume that the attack by Orton on RAW this week was to write Hardy off and possibly the last time we see him on WWE television.
