Giulia Reveals The Date Of Her Final Match In Japan

Giulia only has a few weeks left in Japan.

It has been no secret that one of the top female pro wrestlers in Japan Giulia is coming to WWE this year. She left Stardom earlier this year to help Rossy Ogawa start his new Marigold promotion before coming to America. Now we at least know when she will be wrapping things up in Japan and with Marigold.

During Today’s Marigold event, Giulia revealed that she will be wrapping up her run with Marigold on August 19th in Korakuen Hall. On that show, she will have a match with Mai Sakurai. Giulia stated,

“The match on August 19th at Korakuen Hall will be my last in Japan. I’m going to challenge the world of professional wrestling!”

When talking about this last night, Dave Meltzer stated that he had heard that Marigold thought she would remain in Japan till the end of August. He noted how she is already under contract with WWE so when they want her and tell her to start then she will come in. Now that leads us to the big question, when do we see her show up in WWE?

We know she will start in NXT and NXt does have the No Mercy event on on September 1. If she works the August 19th show then that could give one if not two episodes of NXT to show up on before No Mercy. Yet they could also go the Shinsuke Nakamura route where he sends in a video challenge and is not seen live till his first match.
