Future Episodes Of AEW Dynamited Being Moved Off Wednesdays

Three future episodes of Dynamite are being moved in favor of the NBA.

Since it debuted on TNT, AEW Dynamite has aired every week on TNT at 8pm ET on Wednesday Nights. There was one night they aired practically on TruTV due to baseball playoffs but now the NBA is getting favored over All Elite Wrestling.

WarnerMedia and TNT announced Monday that two episodes at the end of August and one in September will have to move to different nights instead of airing as normal on Wednesdays.

Week of August 17

Due to the NBA’s schedule, AEW: Dynamite will make the following shifts on TNT:
* The Wednesday, August 19 episode will air on Saturday, August 22 at 6:00pm ET / 3:00pm PT
* The Wednesday, August 26 episode will air Thursday, August 27 at 8:00pm ET/PT
* The Wednesday, September 16 episode will air Thursday, September 17 at 8:00pm ET/PT

It is unclear how these changes will affect the episodes in the ratings, but one has to think the two Thursday night shows could be to their benefit. We don’t know if this will happen, but what if not going up against NXT helps them in the ratings and the show does record numbers. There is no way to gauge that until it happens but it is possible.
