Friday Night Smackdown Ratings For 1/17 On The Up Swing
January 18, 2020 0 By Tim JarrellSmackdown Ratings goes up again this week.
According to ShowBuzz Daily, this week’s Friday Night Smackdown averaged 2,580,000 viewers. This is up about 4% from last week’s 2,502,000 viewers. The one good thing is the drop off from hour one to hour two was on roughly 72,000 viewers which looks to be the smallest drop off since moving to FOX back in October. As they always do on Friday Night CBS won with their three-hour block of shows but it is to note that they were down a few million viewers from where they normally are.
As far as the demographics go, in the 18-49 demo, Smackdown drew a 0.5. In the 18-34 demo, they drew a 0.8 and in the 50+ they averaged a 2.5. The over 50 demo looks to be where the drop off was this week as it was the only demographic to fall off in the second hour. For the night in both the 18-49 and the 18-34 demos, Smackdown did rank number one.
