Friday Night Smackdown Ratings For 1/1 Down On New Year’s Day

According to ShowBuzzDaily, this week’s Friday Night Smackdown drew 1,915,000 viewers. This is down 47% from last week’s show that drew 3,336,000 viewers. This week’s show saw a 1,421,000 viewer decrease. The thing to look at with last week’s ratings is for most markets, the show had an incredible lead in airing after the NFL Game. The night on broadcast television was won by Blue Bloods on CBS at over 3 million viewers.
As far as the demographics, in the 18-49 demo, Smackdown drew a .5. In the 18-34 demo, Smackdown drew a .3 and drew a 2 in the 50+ demo. In the all-important 18-49 demo, Smackdown was ranked number one for the night on broadcast television.
