Four NXT Superstars Set To Be at This Week’s Smackdown

For a good while now, WWE has been bringing NXT Superstars to both RAW and Smackdown to work matches before the shows. Last night both LA Knight and Roderick Strong worked before RAW and they also did so last week at Smackdown. Now we know of four NXT Superstars who are slated to be at Smackdown this week.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that along with LA Knight and Roderick Strong, both Dakota Kai and Io Shirai are slated to be at Smackdown this week the day before the Royal Rumble. It is not known if these four will work matches or not but the best bet would be Strong versus Knight and Kai versus Shirai.
If that does happen it would be the first time Shiria works the main roster match since the 2019 Royal Rumble match. Kai last worked on the main roster in a dark match back in November.
