Former WWE & IMPACT Champions Stepping Away From Wrestling
April 27, 2022One of wrestling’s top female tag teams are taking a break.
In 2020 and 2021 many wrestlers were released from WWE and actually found homes within IMPACT Wrestling. Two of those that found a place in IMPACT were the former IIconics now known as The IInspiration. Yet now they have announced that they will be taking a break from pro wrestling.
The IInspiration (Cassie Lee & Jessie McKay) announced Wednesday morning that they will be indefinitely stepping away from professional wrestling. the news itself was shared by both the team and IMPACT wrestling with the statement saying,
“We first want to thank Scott D’Amore and the entire IMPACT family,” The IInspiration said in the statement. “We have had such an amazing experience, working with the incredible IMPACT staff and roster. We will cherish these IMPACT memories forever. We are excited to start a new chapter in our lives and explore other opportunities that may come our way.”

No actual reason was given for the two stepping away at this time. The duo have been with IMPACT since last October when they debuted at the Bound For Glory event becoming the IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Champions.
