Former World Champion Reportedly Leaves IMPACT Wrestling

IMPACT has lost Mr. Tuesday Night & his girlfriend.

In early 2019, former TNA World Champion Rob Van Dam returned to IMPACT Wrestling. His first match back was at the United We Stand show when he teamed with Sabu to take on the Lucha Bros. Since then we have seen the RVD character in IMPACT shift with adding his girlfriend Katie Forbes to the act and being somewhat of an NSFW kind of act. Yet it is now being reported that the two have left IMPACT Wrestling.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that both Rob Van Dam and Katie Forbes have left the company. Over the weekend the couple was removed from the company’s roster pages on their website confirming the two have parted from IMPACT.

RVD and Forbes recently wrapped up a program with Sami Callihan and Johnson stated that when that storyline was over that is when the two decided to leave the company. The report does go on to state that the door is open if RVD and or Forbes would like to return to IMPACT Wrestling.

Also in a new interview with WrestleZone, Van Dam stated that he no longer currently has any obligations to IMPACT.

It is unclear what is next for the two and if they even want to continue in wrestling or not. If we do hear anything further on what could be next for the couple, we will have it here and on the PWUNlimited YouTube Channel.
