Former WCW World Champion Wrestling Next Week On Dynamite

One legend is getting back in the ring.

Tonight on AEW Dynamite MJF came down to the ring looking to get answers from Cody as far as his stipulations go. He gave Cody to the count of ten to come down to the ring and someone did come out but it was not Cody. Instead out would come former WCW World Champion Diamond Dallas Page.

Page would come down and run down MJF before MJF said he didn’t really want to fight him but he knew who would. Out would The Butcher, The Blade, and The Bunny. They would jump in the ring and Butcher and Blade would both take a Diamond Cutter. MJF and Wardlow would then get the best of Page before Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall would run down to make the save and run MJF off.

Later in the night, AEW announced that next week on the Bash at the Beach edition of Dynamite Page will team with Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall to take on the team of MJF, The Butcher, and The Blade.

This match will actually mark Page’s first match since the WrestleMania 32 Andre The Giant Battle Royal in 2016. Before that Page had worked the 2015 Royal Rumble Match. He would then work two tag matches, one in 2011 and one in 2010. Page has not been an actual active in-ring wrestler since the end of 2005 and into very early 2006.
