WWE very high on former women’s champion.

Since the inception of NXT 2.0 we have seen a lot of new faces on television. Some have been in development for a while but not on TV and some that been signed recently and fast-tracked to television. The thought process with the new NXT is to have young people on the show for the most part and focus on them. Now it looks like there is a young wrestler that already has experience in being a champion that WWE is trying to sign.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Meltzer reports that WWE has offered a contract to former Ring of Honor Women’s Champion Rok-C. The report did not state if she has signed or even agreed to the deal yet but she was spotted on this week’s NXT 2.0 sitting in the crowd.

Rok-C is only 20-years-old and has already been wrestling for 7 years. She started training when she was only 13, before training at Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling in Houston, Texas at the age of 16. Coming out of ROW there was some buzz about her, but all the praise we hear on her now really came after she first appeared in Ring of Honor and then eventually won the championship last September. She held the title till January of this year when she dropped it to Deonna Purrazzo on an episode of IMPACT Wrestling.

Rok-C has been on WWE’s raider for some time now and did attend the tryout held at the WWE Performance Center last December. It was said coming out of that tryout that WWE was so impressed by her that they made it somewhat of importance that they sign her to the company.

If we do hear anything else on Rok-C being offered a deal by WWE and what comes of it, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimiteed YouTube Channel.
