Former Intercontinental Champion Expected For RAW This Week
February 2, 2020Last week we saw Edge return to the WWE in the Royal Rumble. The next night on RAW should have been as great for the Rated R Superstar but he ended up snake bit by the end of the show.
As we saw Edge came out and talked about working hard to return to the ring. Randy Orton then came out and made you think he wanted to reform Rated RKO, but that was not the case. Orton would give Edge an RKO and then brutally attack him with a chair.
This week Monday Night RAW comes to us from Salt Lake City, Utah and it has been told to us that the word going around is that former Intercontinental Champion Christian is expected to be on this week’s RAW to possibly confront Randy Orton. Edge is not expected to be on the show to sell the attack from last week but exactly what could happen with Orton and Christian is unclear. We have been told that as of right now Christian is not looking to return to action like Edge has and it is unknown if he will be able to do something physical with Orton. Whether that is Orton giving him an RKO or even bringing back the Punt Kick is to be seen. Christian retired back in 2014 after suffering a number of concussions and has not shown any signs of wanting to return to in-ring competition.
We have also been told that it is likely for Edge’s wife Beth Phoenix to get involved in this storyline as well. It was said that her mentioning the attack at the start of NXT last week was a hint that she could be involved down the road leading to what many believe is a match at WrestleMania in Tampa.
