Former Champion Announced For Tonight’s AEW Dynamite
October 8, 2024A former champion will appear live tonight.
As of this morning, six things had been announced for the show which will be the go-home show for the WrestleDream event. This afternoon, AEW President Tony Khan has announced a former champion will appear on the show tonight.
Khan announced on X Tuesday afternoon that former one-third of the AEW World Trios Champions Jay White will appear on the show tonight live. White had been out of action for the last few months with a foot injury and returned last week attacking Hangman Page.

With adding White to the program, that is now seven things set for tonight’s Dynamite,
- Bryan Danielson & Wheeler Yuta vs. Claudio Castagnoli & PAC
- NJPW Strong Womenโs Champion & TBS Champion Mercedes Mone defends both belts against Emi Sakura
- Winner faces Mariah May at WrestelDream for the AEW Womenโs World Championship: Britt Baker vs. Willow Nightingale
- Hologram vs. Komander
- Hook calls out the person who attacked Taz last week
- Jay White appears live
