Five New Things Announced For Tonight’s Smackdown

Big matches set for tonight.

Tonight Friday Night Smackdown comes to us from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Coming into today the only thing we knew for the show was that Roman Reigns would be appearing. This afternoon, WWE did announce five new things for the show.

First off it was announced that the new WWE United States Champion LA Knight will be on Smackdown. LA Knight will address the crowd in Tulsa but his next challenger will be crowned tonight ass well.

 

As far as crowning that next number one contender, we will see the WWE Speed Champion Andrade go one-on-one with Santos Escobar. Andrade is coming off a win last week against Carmelo and Escobar will have Legado del Fantasma at his side.

 

Speaking of number one contender matches, the former WWE Tag Team Champions #DIY will be facing off with Pretty Deadly tonight to see who will be the first challengers to the current Champions The Bloodline.

 

In keeping with tag team action, we will see The Street Profits taking on A-Town Down. A-Town down has had a busy week thus far as they also competed this past Monday night on RAW.

All of this along with Roman Reigns appearing on the show is all we know for tonight’s Friday Night Smackdown. If we do hear anything else for tonight’s blue-branded show on FOX we will have it here.
