Five Champions Kickoff RAW, Title Match & More Announced For Tonight’s RAW

WWE has a loaded show for tonight’s RAW.

Coming off of last night’s Clash Of Champions pay-per-view there were a lot of questions going into tonight’s RAW. This morning nothing was announced for the show, but now WWE has announced a number of things for RAW tonight including what will kick off the show.

First off WWE has announced that the WWE Champion Drew McIntyre will kick off tonight’s show along with four former world champions in The Big Show, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, and Christian.

Last night, the ghosts of Randy Orton’s recent past returned to haunt The Viper at the worst possible time. Shawn Michaels, Big Show, Christian and Ric Flair, all victims of The Apex Predator’s devastating kick to the skull, arrived at WWE Clash of Champions to help Drew McIntyre vanquish The Viper in a hard-hitting Ambulance Match and retain his WWE Title.

Tonight on Raw, the WWE Champion and the Legends will kick off the show. What will be the mood after McIntyre’s big win in the WWE ThunderDome?

In a rematch from last night’s Clash of Champions, Asuka will once again defend the RAW Women’s Championship against Zelina vega. After the match last night Asuka complimented Vega on being a good opponent but then Vega attacked Asuka after said compliment.

Asuka proved Zelina Vega wasn’t ready for her at WWE Clash of Champions, but can La Muñeca maximize a second chance?

The Empress of Tomorrow will defend the Raw Women’s Title against Vega tonight on Raw.

Vega impressed in last night’s battle at WWE Clash of Champions, deftly targeting Asuka’s left arm throughout. But one costly mistake was all the champion needed to apply the Asuka Lock for the submission victory.

Later in the evening, Asuka also answered Bayley’s open challenge for the SmackDown Women’s Title before winning by disqualification.

With Asuka having competed twice and potentially nursing an injured arm, can Vega capitalize for her first championship gold?

WWE has also announced that tonight Kevin Owens will go one-on-one with Aleister Black after the two have been going back and forth over the last month or so.

Two weeks ago on Raw, Kevin Owens emerged victorious over Aleister Black, dropping The Dutch Destroyer with a Stunner after the flickering lights that often signaled the arrival of RETRIBUTION distracted Black.

The heated rivalry between the two former allies will continue tonight inside the WWE ThunderDome. Will KO continue to get payback on Black, or will The Dutch Destroyer prove that Owens’ victory was a fluke?

Finally, WWE has announced that we will get a new edition of “The King’s Court” as Jerry Lawler will be joined by the entire Mysterio family.

Last week, Seth Rollins’ crusade to torment the Mysterio family took an unforeseen turn when Rey Mysterio inadvertently angered his daughter Aalyah, causing her to storm off.

Tonight on Raw, the entire Mysterio family will join Jerry “The King” Lawler for a special edition of “The King’s Court.” Will we find out whether The Monday Night Messiah has driven a wedge between the family, or will the Mysterios show that their family bond is stronger than ever?

For more on tonight’s Monday Night RAW keep it locked here to PWUnlmited and the PWUnlimited Twitch Channel after the show to break it all down.
