First Time Title Match Announced For Double Or Nothing

AEW announced a triple threat match for Double or Nothing.

Tonight AEW announced that they will be doing something with their World Title that they have not don’t in their almost three-year history. Omega tried to get no opponent and got more than he set out for.

On AEW Dynamite PAC took on Orange Cassidy with the winner earning a shot at the AEW World Champion Kenny Omega at Double or Nothing. During the match, PAC was firmly in control of Cassidy when Don Callis came out to distract the referee. This then lead to Omega coming out and hitting PAC in the back of the head with the World Title. Both PAC and Cassidy would then get counted out as they could not get to their feet before the 10 count.

Omega and Callis thought they had outsmarted everyone and did not have to defend the title at Double or Nothing since there was no winner. Tony Schiavone told them different when he announced Omega will be defending the title against both PQAC and Orange Cassidy at Double or Nothing. This will be the first time that the AEW World Championship, and any AEW singles title will be defended in a triple threat match.

With this triple threat World Title match being announced, this is now the second title match and third match overall announced for Double or Nothing on May 30th.

If we do hear anything else regarding Double or Nothing on May 30th, we will have it here and on theΒ PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
