First Match Official For May 24th Saturday Night’s Main Event
May 11, 2025A title match is set for NBC.
In just two short weeks, WWE will be in primetime on NBC and Peacock with another edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event. The show will come to us from Tampa, Florida, and the first match was announced during Backlash.
WWE announced during the Backlash event that Jay Uso will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Logan Paul at Saturday Night’s Main Event. This match has been teased since the RAW after WrestleMania and last week, after RAW went off the air, Paul attacked Uso.

This match taking place at WWE SNME was first reported yesterday by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. So far, it is the only match announced for the show, but it is also being reported that John Cena could be facing R-Truth on this show as well.
