First Fight Rules Revealed, Contract Signing Set For RAW

Tonight’s Monday Night RAW comes to us from Lexington, Kentucky and we know of a number of things for the show. AJ Styles will clash with Randy Orton, Aleister Black will take on Buddy Murphy, Rusev and Bobby Lashley will go at it again and there will be a Fist Fight. Yet the rules were not announced for the Fist Fight until today.

First revealed by TheWrap, the rules of the Fist Fight are no-holds-barred, no disqualification, no count-outs, no pinfalls, and no submissions. They say this is an industry first tonight. The way you win is when all three members of a team are “knocked out” and the referee declares that one team is no longer able to continue.

The “Fist Fight,” which will be Monday’s main event, is no-holds-barred, no disqualification, no count-outs, no pinfalls and no submissions — a first in the industry, a WWE spokesman told TheWrap.

“The match ends when the referee declares that one team is no longer able to continue,” the spokesman said.

Yes, an entire team of three has to be (storyline) “knocked out” for the match to come to a conclusion.

Also announced for tonight’s show will be a contract signing for the RAW Women’s Championship match at the Royal Rumble. The match will see Becky Lynch defend her title against Asuka at the January 26 event.

Monday Night RAW comes to us at 8pm ET/5pm PT live on the USA Network. Also, be sure to check out our Monday Night RAW Review after the show on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
