Field Set For North American Title Ladder Match At TakeOver
August 19, 2020We now know all five men in the TakeOver ladder match.
This Saturday night at NXT TakeOver XXX thee will be a five-man ladder match to crown the vacant North American championship. NXT had four triple threat matches to qualify participants in the ladder match. Then the men who were not pinned in the triple threat matches battled in two singles matches to fill the final spots of the match.
Tonight on NXT we had the two singles matches to round out the five-man ladder match. The first match saw Johnny Gargano take on Ridge Holland. The match saw Gargano pick up the victory and advance into the match at TakeOver.

In the second match, we saw Finn Balor take on The Velveteen Dream. The match itself was not bad for the first three-quarters of the match until it broke down late. Towards the end of the match, every other man already in the came down to get their presence known. The end of the match saw Timothy Thatcher attack Finn Balor allowing Dream to pick up the victory and advancing to the ladder match at TakeOver.
