Female NXT Superstar Reportedly Getting Call Up Soon

It looks like another main roster call up is planned.

Over the last 24 hours news came out that Damian Priest was slated the be called up to the main roster last Friday on Smackdown before that was nixed. Plans still have Priest coming to the main roster soon and now a female is slated to come up as well.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reported that last night at NXT New Year’s Evil was considered the final NXT match for Rhea Ripley. Ripley’s name has come up many times as far as being called up over the next year but it seems like her loss to Raquel Gonzalez last night in the Last Women Standing match was her write-off from the brand as WWE normally does.

No word was given as far as how soon or what brand Ripley could be coming to. If we hear anything else regarding Ripley coming to the main roster, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
