Fastlane Finish Reportedly Leads to Change To Announced WrestleMania Match
March 21, 2021One Mania match is what we all assumed.
Tonight at WWE Fastlane we saw Roman Reigns defend the Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan. After Edge got involved in the match and the referee was knocked out Roman Reigns did tap out to Daniel Bryan. Yet in the end, Reigns was declared the winner of the match and still Universal Champion.
With that, According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Meltzer reports that this finish will lead to Daniel Bryan being added to the Universal Title match at WrestleMania with Roman Reigns and Edge. This is something that many have seen coming for weeks now.
There are only three episodes of Smackdown left before WrestleMania so one would assume Bryan being added to the match should be announced this Friday on Smackdown.
