Extra Long RAW Scheduled For This Week

January 20, 2020 1 By Tim Jarrell

RAW may be three hours plus this Monday night.

This Monday’s RAW is the last RAW before the Royal Rumble and we know of a number of things for this week’s show. Aside from building up the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches themselves, we have a mixed tag match and a US Title ladder match. Plus the WWE Champion Brock Lesnar will be on the show.

With all of that in mind, WWE and the USA Network think that RAW this week needs more than the typical three-hour timeslot. If you look on the USA Network’s website and the schedule for Monday the 20th, Monday Night RAW is actually listed as a three hour and thirty-four-minute show. The show following RAW, Modern Family, is not scheduled to start until 11:34 pm ET. It is to be noted that both Dish Network and Comcast have RAW listed as three and a half hours as well. That means the cable providers have also been informed of the change.

It is odd that the show is listed for so long. Even before when RAW had an overrun ever week it was only listed till 15 past the top of the hour. If we do hear anything further and the length of this week’s show we will keep you updated.
