EXCLUSIVE: WWE President Nick Khan Implements New Edict For Evaluating Talent
June 4, 2021Nick Khan wants talent looked as like athletes in other sports.
Over the last almost two months we have seen more than 15 main roster superstars released by WWE. Some of these look like it could have been because of a new edict by WWE President Nick Khan.
We have been told that Khan has implemented a “pure sports policy” to other high ranking members of the company. The policy is that of other sports leagues where if they feel the talent is making more than they are worth and felt to be past their prime they will be cut and replaced by a younger talent being paid less.
We have been told that this is what lead to the releases of Samoa Joe, Mickie James, and Braun Strowman. With James and Joe, we were told their ages, and the fact that the two have been out with injuries led to them being released.
As far as Braun Strowman, as others have talked about, it was felt that he was making more money than he was actually worth to the company.
