EXCLUSIVE: NXT Officials Impressed By New Signee

Back in February WWE announced the biggest class they have for the WWE Performance Center. One of those names announced as signing was Karissa Rivera. Some may remember her as playing Bobby Lashley’s ex-wife during the Lashley/Lana wedding on Monday Night RAW.
This week we saw her technically make her NXT debut. She did work a match back in 2018 against Lacey Evans. This week she worked a match against Franky Monet and worked under the name Electra Lopez. They actually gave her more offense on Monet than expected and that could be because she is well-liked.
It has been told to us by one source that NXT officials have been impressed by her. It was said that they have been impressed with her more than some other recent signees and debuts. This is a good sign as WWE could be in a spot where they could be calling up names from NXT to the main roster and that they will need new wrestlers they can put on TV to potentially fill those spots.
