EXCLUSIVE: Candice LeRae Gives Fans At WarGames Interesting Update On Johnny’s Status

Did Johnny’s wife let the cat out of the bag?

Tonight was NXT WarGames where in the main event it was Team Black & Gold vs Team 2.0 in the Men’s War Games Match. This was the first War Games match for Johnny Gargano and possibly his last War Games match as well. We know that Gargano’s contract with WWE is up at the end of the week, yet his wife may have spilled the beans on what he is planning on doing.

As you see in the image below, Candice LeRae, the wife of Johnny Gargano, met with fans in attendance at NXT War Games after the show went off the air.

One fan we spoke to stated that he asked LeRae what is next for Johnny after Takeover and she stated “He’s going on maternity leave with me.” 

Now you can take this however you like. Is this fact that he is just going to just take some time off and then come back after she gives birth in February? Or is she just kidding and he is really leaving WWE when his contract is up at the end of the week? Is Candice telling the truth is the big question here?

Regarding Gargano for the rest of the week till his contract is up, Gargano spoke to the live crowd after War Games and noted that he will be back Tuesday night and will tell the fans everything going on then.
