Elimination Chamber Transportation Delayed Due To Pirates

Pirates played a factor in the chamber getting to Perth.

This Saturday is the WWE Elimination Chamber event from Perth, Australia. Yet before that on Thursday WWE held a press conference from outside of Opus Stadium where the event is being held, and Michael Cole told us an interesting fact about the chamber structure being delayed in getting to Perth.

During Thursday’s press event, Monday Night RAW commentator Michael Cole noted that it took over a month to get the Elimination Chamber Structure to Perth, Australia. He noted it was supposed to go through the Suez Canal, but pirates changed those plans. Cole stated,

“It’s a structure which took over a month to get here. Originally, it was supposed to ship through the Suez Canal, but pirates made sure that didn’t happen. So it was sent to Miami. It was then shipped by truck to Los Angeles. Put on a ship to Sydney. Sent on a train over here to Perth and now the elimination chamber is being constructed as we speak. Right behind us in the stadium here in Perth.”

This seemed to take Corey Graves by surprise as he responded with “Did you say pirates Cole?” Yet regardless of all of that the Elimination Chamber event is still set to take place on schedule so at least the event itself did not have to get delayed. It just took a little longer than expected to get the chamber to Perth.
