*UPDATE* Eight Teams Revealed For 2020 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, Brackets Revealed
January 2, 2020This year’s Dusty Classic will feature NXT & NXT UK.
Tonight NXT aired a special episode of the show where they aired some of the best Takeover matches from 2019. Plus they announced the NXT Year-End Awards and the participants for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. This year the tournament will feature eight teams with four representing NXT and four representing NXT UK.
The eight teams announced are mainly teams you are used to seeing together with a few NXT stars put together for the tournament.
NXT Teams
- Undisputed Era (Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reily)
- Forgotten Son (Steve Cutler & Wesley Blake)
- Matt Riddle & Pete Dunne
- Kushida & A Mystery Partner
NXT UK Teams
- Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake)
- Gallus (Wolfgang & Mark Coffey)
- Imperium (Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner)
- Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster

It was not announced when the matches will begin and when the finals would take place, yet one would assume the finals could be at World Collide on January 25th and could see an NXT team against an NXT UK team.
Previous winners of the tournament saw Finn Balor and Samoa Joe in 2015. The Authors of Pain in 2016, The Undisputed Era in 2018, and Aleister Black and Ricochet in 2019.
