Dynamite & NXT Ratings For 10/7 Down With Massive Debate Competition

Wrestling was down with many many many watching the debate.

According to ShowBuzz Daily, this week’s AEW Dynamite drew 753,000 viewers. This is down 14% from last week’s show that drew 866,000 viewers. This week was down -113,000 viewers. This week’s NXT drew 639,000 viewers. This is down 13% from last week’s show that drew 732,000 viewers. This week’s show was down 93,000 viewers from last week’s show. The reason both shows were down was because up against the second hour of both shows, seven broadcast and cable networks aired the vice presidential debate with over 47 million people watching. That does not count the people who watch online like on the ABC, NBC, CBS, and other YouTube Channels.

As far as the demographics, in the 18-49 demo, AEW drew a .31, and NXT drew a .16. In the 18-34 demo, AEW drew a .18 and in the 50+ demo, AEW drew a .26. In the all-important 18-49 demo, AEW Dynamite was ranked 19th and WWE NXT was ranked 56th.
