Details On WrestleMania 37 Announcement & Location

February 9, 2020 0 By Tim Jarrell

It looks like WrestleMania 37 will be where we all expected.

We have heard for months now that WWE has been talking with Inglewood, California city officials to run an upcoming WrestleMania in the new SoFi Stadium but the year was up in the air. Tomorrow it is to be announced for WrestleMania 37 2021.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Meltzer reports that tomorrow at 9am (assuming PT time) WWE will announce the location for WrestleMania 37.

The announcement of the location of the 2021 WrestleMania will be made at 9 a.m. tomorrow.  I’m not allowed to officially say where it will be, past it will be where everyone expected either the 2021 or 2022 Mania to be all along.

Tomorrow WWE will be in Ontario, California for Monday Night RAW and that is the greater Los Angeles area. With SoFi Stadium also in the greater Los Angeles area, all signs point to that being the announcement tomorrow. WWE has yet to make any announcement of the announcement taking place tomorrow. Typically WWE streams the WrestleMania location announcement on YouTube and their social media channels.

SoFi Stadium has not yet officially opened and will run its first events from July 24-26 with three nights of Taylor Swift concerts. It will then host both the Los Angeles Ram and Chargers for the first time with the 2020 season.

Earlier reports indicated that city officials wanted WrestleMania in the stadium in 2021 but WWE was pushing for 2022. Officials wanted it in 2021 to use it as a test before they host the 2022 SuperBowl. The rumor was WWE wanted to run WrestleMania 38 in 2022 there so they can announce that they had a higher attendance number in the building than the Super Bowl.

If we do hear anything further on the WrestleMania 37 announcement tomorrow most likely at SoFi Stadium, we will keep you updated.
