Details on Matt Riddle Current WWE Contract & Next Contract Offer
December 18, 2020WWE looking to lock Riddle down for many more years.
Mat Riddle signed with WWE back in 2018 and started on the NXT brand. Riddle was then moved up to the main roster on the Smackdown Brand this past summer and then moved to Monday Night RAW in the WWE Draft back in October. It looks like Riddle’s current contract is coming up and WWE is already working to keep him with the company.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer reports that Riddle’s current WWE contract expires in August of 2021. He states that WWE is already in talks with Riddle on getting him to sign a new deal.
The report states that WWE has offered Riddle a new three-year deal with a $400,000 a year guarantee with a $50,000 bonus for every Saudi Arabia show he works as well. Meltzer states that “it’s said he’s pretty much” agreed to the new deal.
If Riddle does agree to this new deal and stays with WWE, that would lock him in with the company till 2024.
If we hear anything further on Riddle possibly signing a new three-year deal with WWE, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
