Details On Jeff Hardy’s New Contract With WWE
September 21, 2020Jeff Hardy has signed a new deal.
Earlier this year Matt hardy’s deal expired with WWE and he left the company. many started asking about Jeff and we learned because of injuries suffered over the last few years his deal had been extended by the company for almost another year. Some fans hoped that after his deal was up he would maybe leave and team up again with his brother. Now it looks like that will not be happening any time soon.
We had learned last week that Hardy had signed a new deal with WWE and many expected he had signed a new five-year deal. Hardy spoke about his new contract with BT Sport saying one condition he wanted was once fans are back at live show he can use the ‘No More Words’ theme. Regarding the years though, hardy is an exception to many recent deals.
Most recent deals signed with WWE are five-year deal, but according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that hardy’s new deal is actually around a two to three year deal. With WWE giving hardy a shorter deal, similar to rey Mysterio’s new deal, that shows that the company really did not want to lose Hardy and was willing to negotiate to keep him under contract.
Jeff Hardy is currently the WWE Intercontinental Champion and will be defending his title at Clash of Champions against both AJ Styles and Sami Zayn in a ladder Match.
This was very informative. I appreciate the clarity and depth.
