Details On AEW Collision Ahead Of SummerSlam
July 19, 2024Programing change for Collision on August 3rd.
As we have seen in the past, AEW Collision airing head-to-head with a WWE premium live event is a killer when it comes to ratings. With WWE’s biggest party of the summer coming up soon it looks like AEW and TNT are moving when Collision will air on that day.
According to the TNT schedule for August 3rd, it has AEW Collision listed as starting at 5 PM ET instead of its normal 8 PM ET time slot. If this is correct it looks like they will be airing Collision before SummerSlam begins that night. It is unknown though if this will actually help AEW in the ratings or not. We have seen in the past even when WWE runs an event that airs early in the day here in the US and not head-to-head with Collision, the ratings are still impacted.
This episode of AEW Collision will not be a live episode. The show itself will be filmed a few days earlier on Thursday, August 1st from the Esports Stadium Arlington in Arlington, Texas during AEW’s Path to All In residency in that venue.
