Details On A Second NXT Show In The Works, Content Filmed

WWE has started filming a new NXT show.

We have heard for a while now that WWE wanted a second show for the NXT brand in the United States. With NXT now on the USA Network and no longer seen as a developmental show, WWE started looking at creating a new developmental show. Now we have new details on that show.

According to a new report from Fightful, they report that a new NXT show is in the works and content has already been filmed. Right now the tentative name for the show is ‘NXT EVOLVE’ with Gabsapolsky and Jeremy Borash both heavily involved in the production of the show. They also state that graphics and a title belt have already been created with the NXT EVOLVE branding.

Content has already been filmed for the show from the warehouse WWE was using in 2020 as a makeshift Performance Center when the main roster was using the PC for RAW and Smackdown. The show used several new signees to the company as well. It was hosted by Josiah Williams with more of a “fight” feel to the show. No commentary team was on hand live so that would need to be added in during post-production.

We do not know when the show will eventually debut and if this will be a new weekly show or have a different release schedule. If we do hear anything else pertaining to this new NXT show, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
